My first Mother's Day! We had a great time visiting both of our families and Drew made me a video of the adoption process that we'll show to Kaden someday.

We are moving to Indiana!
So we've made the decision to go to Indiana so Drew can attend the Notre Dame MBA program and we are so excited! It will be hard to leave family, friends, and jobs behind here but we know that this will be an experience we will never forget and such a great educational opportunity for Drew. I'm so proud of him and know he will work so hard. We leave in about 2 weeks and there is so much to do I better stop blogging and get to work!

Big Decisions
Drew has always wanted to go to grad school for his MBA and I'm proud to say he was accepted in to Notre Dame and can also go through the U of U's executive program as well as BYU's through his work. They will cover a portion of it and give him a few paid days a month for school purposes. He is waiting to hear back from one more school so we'll see what happens! Kaden is doing well and getting chubbier by the minute. He is smiling a lot and it's so darn cute in combination with his triple chin and chubby cheeks! Here's one of my favorite pics of him. We had an awesome photographer come out to our house and I think he did an awesome job.

We're officially bloggers!
So many thought they'd never see the day but here we are....bloggers! Anyway, we have a lot of exciting things happening right now. Definitely the most exciting is the little guy you see on the left! Kaden was born on March 9th and has been the greatest blessing we could ever imagine. We began the adoption process last summer and after 6 months on the waiting list, he arrived. I think about his birthmom everyday and never knew I could have so much love for a person I have never met. She wanted a closed adoption because she felt it would be too difficult otherwise but we have heard so many wonderful things about her we are excited to share with Kaden someday. I could go on and on about the wonderful experience we have had with this adoption but will stop now! He is 6 weeks old and growing like a weed. I'm worried he's going to be able to tackle me soon! I love being a mother and know that although Kaden doesn't look a whole lot like us (except his hair looks like Drews) he was meant to be a part of our family.
