My not so little baby...

We took these pictures the other day and they both reminded me of similar ones we took when Kade was a baby...it's crazy how big his! He is at a fun, crazy age now but I a little bit miss my baby!

I recently took a quick trip up to Utah with Kade while Suzy was in town. It is so fun to go home and be greeted with the smell of my favorite goodies! Drew's parents had my favorite meatloaf cooking and my favorite sugar cookies. And then Suzy and I went to my grandma's and she had my my two favorite cakes, fudge, and a roast beef dinner! Nothing like home cookin. Needless to say, I came home stuffed and on a major sugar high!

We so miss Suz and Knox! These boys were so cute together!

Summer in Scottsdale

I also have a little catching up to do...It's been such a hot, fun summer here and we're sad to be leaving at the end of next month. And no, we don't know where we're going yet but it's looking like there's a good chance we're headed to Southern Cali. The sun and I are great friends and this time it won't be so hot so I'm happy. But we'll keep you posted.

Some of our favorite places...the library with our buddies...

...(kind of sad to say but) McDonalds...

...fun friends pools..

...and dog cages (kidding...this was only a photo opportunity with Kade's friend Jackson). But we've had a great time just hanging out with friends here, going to splash pads, having game nights, and slumber parties with the Johnsons!

We also try and get up to Utah when we can to visit family and friends.

Check out those nice legs!

Grammy and Papa Yergensens house is pretty much as fun as Disneyland!

Fourth of July fun...

Bear Lake with Great Grandma Chambers...

And chillin with Great Grandpa!

Brin and I sneaking into some yummy chololate cake!

And hangin out with my buddy Dre and her little guy!

We also took a trip up to Midway with my side of the family..

I was the canvas for my nieces and nephews artistic talents.

Kaden totally fell asleep while we were riding on the tube and took a nice long snooze for pretty much the entire boat ride.

And he slept for pretty much the entire ride on this badboy.

Check out these cute cousins!

And these cute ones!

Disneyland

I have totally neglected the blog! And as you can see, we've finally gone private. Some weirdo at Drew's work googled us and had Drew's life over the past two years memorized and kept talking about it so he came home and privatized us! With us living all over the place for awhile I do want to keep up the blog to stay connected to friends and family. Here are some pictures of our latest trip to Disneyland and a few moments of our life here in Scottsdale...which we are really enjoying!

This trip was so fun! I'm pretty sure Kade has this grumpy face in about every picture but I promise he is a happy kid! And he had a great time in Disneyland...although I think Drew had the most fun!

Drew ran another 1/2 marathon (like it was no biggie) with his brother Sean, sister Tineka, and brother-in-law/favorite running buddy Tim. I'm proud to say this is about his fifth race? A few of those have been marathons and relay races...I think he is secretly a superhero.

I had to capture the look on Kade's face on our first ride (Peter Pan). I was expecting a little more excitement but it was more of an intense look I would say.

I love this picture! Kade loves his cousin, Landon, so much! Everytime they see eachother, even if they've only been apart for 5 minutes, they hug like long lost buddies.

There's a smile!

And another one from Dadio (that's what Kade call him).

My little bugs...

We had such a great time with Sean & Jess, Shauna, Justin, and Tristyn at Disneyland and a blast with the Shoemakers with our slumber party in our hotel room and going to the beach after the race...thanks guys!
